There are sixteen Static-cum-Mobile and purely Mobile Medical units headed by qualified doctors in the areas having concentration of beedi workers. The beedi workers, and their dependant family members get free of cost medical treatment in all the medical units of Labour Welfare Organization. Applications of the beneficiaries to get the benefits from the Health and Social Security related Schemes are processed initially by the Medical Officers of the units concerned and forwarded to the Welfare & Cess Commissioner's office, Bhubaneswar for consideration and disposal.
