The office of the welfare & Cess Commissioner, Labour Welfare Organisation, Bhubaneswar is one among the nine regional offices functioning in different parts of India. The Organisation caters the welfare measures of a particular segment of unorganized sector i.e. Beedi, Mines and Cine workers by the funds raised by the Government of India through levy of cess on non-contributory basis and delivery of welfare services is extended without linkage to individual worker contribution.
